This building was originally our Union Station built in 1905 of limestone and slate. At its height in the 1920s, the station would run 18 passenger trains daily. It stopped being used for passenger traffic in 1958 when the L&N claimed annual losses of $130,000 for continuing the passenger service. Since then, it has housed a disco and a pizza parlor (during the 1970) and currently has several businesses in it, including an architectural firm.
It looks a great building and I'm glad it has survived through the years.
